Amancaya, like its older brother, presents a harmonious balance between the Argentine and Bordeaux styles. The wine is more fruity due to the higher percentage of Malbec and shorter ageing. The word AMANCAYA is the native Indian name of a flower found at high altitudes in the Andes in the Mendoza area.
The grapes for our Cabernet Sauvignon were gently destemmed, but not crushed, leaving a significant portion of whole berries for fermentation. A full eight to ten days of contact between the grapes and the skins allowed us to extract intense color and flavor before fermentation. After primary fermentation, the wine completed malolactic fermentation to soften the acid structure and add complexity.
Deep Ruby/Purple in colour with intense, rich, dark berry and vanilla pod aromas with a hint of clove spice. Very good fruit intensity of dark plum and cassis on the palate, with well integrated oak. The wine has soft velvety tannins and a good length.
Deep ruby/purple in colour, with pronounced, ripe red cherries and mulberries on the nose with overtones of cedar and vanilla pod. Rich and rounded with intense flavours of juicy cherries and dark fruits with subtle sweet spice. The wine is complemented by a good length and balanced fine tannins.
Aussières Rouge combines the elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon with the power and character of Syrah, two star grape varieties of the Bordeaux and Mediterranean regions. Ruby red colour. Nose of red fruit and spices. On the palate, the Mediterranean influence on the Cabernet Sauvignon is very noticeable. Good length accompanied by fresh fruit.

Covering 4 French «departments», it boasts a wide variety of terroirs, each one with different soils and climates, and which, when blended together, create wines with typical characters.
